“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;” (Psalm 95:6)
At Poplar Springs Baptist Church we come together to worship God at 11:00 each Sunday morning. The Lord is worthy of our praise, and we honor Him when we worship together as part of the family of God. In the Old Testament God’s people were commanded to “enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name” (Psalm 100:4). The Bible tells us to come together to “sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God” (Colossians 3:16).
Worship isn’t supposed to be entertainment; we don’t come together to enjoy ourselves but to worship God. At Poplar Springs Baptist Church we recognize that the important thing about Sunday morning is to turn our hearts and minds toward God in worship and praise.
