Nicole Hamrick grew up at Poplar Springs and has been serving as the Minister of Children and Youth here since June 2017. Nicole studied at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received a degree in Mathematics, a 9-12 licensure to teach, and a minor in Spanish. She taught high school mathematics for 5 years before heading to graduate school at Gardner-Webb University where she received her Master of Divinity degree in 2016 with a concentration in Intercultural Studies.
Nicole loves to teach our youth and children and to engage them in opportunities to serve and grow. She also loves to travel and to witness firsthand what God is doing around the world!
She is married to her husband, Adam, and they have three dogs, Oliver and Lily, and Lola.
