PSBC Music Ministry

We have been blessed with a rich history of musical excellence at Poplar Springs. We have a variety of musical ensembles available for the young to the young at heart. Our music ministry contains experienced musicians to brand new beginners, but all share a common desire to use music to worship the Lord.

The Sanctuary Choir is made up of a wide range of youth-senior adults who love to use their gift of singing to lead the church in moments of worship. Special programs include the Christmas Cantata each December and Easter music in the spring. On Wednesday evenings, at 7:30pm, our Sanctuary Choir rehearses for Sunday morning worship.

The ‘Master Ringers’ is a 5 octave handbell choir, made up of a talented group of ringers who enjoy making music for the glory of God. Our ringers play throughout the year in worship and for various events. In February of every year, the Master Ringers participate in the NC Baptist Handbell festival with bell choirs from around our state. Rehearsal for The Master Ringers is on Sunday mornings (September through May) at 8:30am

Our Children’s Choir (1st-5th graders) meets on Wednesday evenings during the school year at 5:30pm. Throughout the year they learn musical principles through singing and playing instruments, while also learning important truths about God.
