PSBC supports missionaries at home and abroad through prayer and financial giving. The Annie Armstrong Offering is given in the spring for missions within the United States. The State Missions Offering is given in the fall to support North Carolina State Missions and the Lottie Moon Offering is given in the winter to support international missions
For the youth of PSBC, missions take on a little different look. Projects include ministry to our college students and shut-ins, feeding the homeless shelter throughout the year, and summer mission trips.
For adults, missions are also hand-on experiences. Groups like the Baptist Men and the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) coordinate many projects within our community. Projects like Angel Tree, Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes and others reach out to those in need around us. Mission trips to Guatemala and Wisconsin reach out to our greater community in other parts of the country and even the world.
